Whatsoever is TRUE – God Loves You
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
What comes to mind when you hear the word love? Do you think hearts and valentines? Does the thought of love bring joy or pain? Society has painted a very misconstrued picture of what it means to be in love. Fortunately, there is a source of truth and it is found in God.
The truth is, God loves us. He loves you and me! How amazing is that? The creator of the universe loves you. And not the made up representative of you, but the real you. The you no one else knows. The you that thinks, “I’ve done too much wrong to be loved.” – Don’t believe the lies! No matter what anyone else thinks or feels, God loves you UNCONDITIONALLY! There is nothing you can do to earn it. God’s love is freely given through Jesus. He wants to have a relationship with you.
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for loving me even though I don’t deserve it. Help me to love myself and others the way You love.
